I’m Kim, the founder of the popular blog Sweet Red Poppy™. I have been sewing since I was a little girl and love the ability to create something incredible with fabric.

While attending the university, I studied Clothing Construction and Pattern Making. This increased my knowledge of sewing and techniques. I have a passion for sharing my love of sewing with everyone around me, and this is why I created my blog and love to create patterns and tutorials. 

Once I became a sewing expert, I was then able to:

• Create the blog Sweet Red Poppy (teaching over 1 million people per month)
• Teach sold-out sewing and crafting classes across the United States
• Design a line of high-quality sewing patterns
• Host sewing and crafting classes on live television

I’m on a mission to help others love their sewing machines while having lots of fun using them. I'm passionate about creating tools like All The Bags, A Comprehensive Pattern Collection where others can feel comfortable learning and making beautiful things.
